New York Central 4-6-4 Hudson 5366 (Alco, Jan 1930) of Class J1d was delivered to the Michigan Central Railroad as 8221 (and then renumbered in 1936). This engine was assigned to the Canada Southern Railway, running from Buffalo, NY to Windsor, Ontario, with some trips to Toronto via the TH&B engine pool.
This is a Broadway Limited Imports model with the following modifications: Soundtraxx Tsunami TSU-1000 sound decoder, traction tire wheel set replaced with all-metal one, Sergent coupler on tender, and the dropped coupler on pilot is non-functional modified Glatzl coupler available from Sergent Engineering. Decals are from Microscale.
The NYC J1d Hudson is my all-time favourite steam locomotive. They will be well represented at Fillmore.
